Since the 1950s, SACA has been improving lives by providing food, services, and access to resources for Silverton area residents. They currently operate out of a cramped basement in an aging Community Center where they have outgrown the space and struggle to meet the community’s growing needs due to multiple facility challenges. We recently invested $25,000 into their capital campaign to purchase and renovate a former brewery into a new, daylight-filled facility that will triple its current size—providing enough storage and workspace to serve the community, collaborate with community partners, and grow into the future. We are proud to be partnering with them and look forward to having Maps Silverton Branch employees volunteer at the new facility when it opens. The before and after photos are shown above.
