Salem-Keizer Career Technical Education Center (CTEC)

With Maps roots as a Teacher’s Credit Union and our Foundation’s Education focus area, investing in the final program at CTEC was a perfect fit. CTEC prepares Salem-Keizer high school students for career and college pathways through hands-on educational programs and professional skill development. Maps recently gave a $50,000 Impact Partnership Grant to support the newest program, Behavioral Health and Human Services opening in September 2023. Graduates from this program will emerge with the skills and certifications required to work in various aspects of the mental health sector or to further their education in this field. This valuable program will help close the gap in trained mental health professionals who can respond to the growing need in our community.
