Community Challenge Award 2017

Published June 1, 2017

Are you a small nonprofit making a big impact?

Are you solving a community problem?

Could you put $500 - $2,500 to good use?

If you answered yes, Maps can help!

The Community Foundation will be giving away up to $5,000 in awards, for our Community Challenge, to Marion and Polk County non-profits with 15 employees or fewer. This is because we believe in the community we live in and we believe in the small non-profits that are making a big difference.

If your nonprofit fits these qualifications, we would love for you to submit a video and application for a chance to win one of these awards. The video must be 3 minutes or less and describe your work in the community as well as how this award will be used.

This challenge is sponsored by the Maps Community Foundation. The foundation is funded by the Maps’ Community Free Checking accounts in which Maps donates a penny to the foundation each time a member uses their debit card. This raised close to $80,000 last year to sponsor community transformation projects such as this challenge.

“How will this award make a difference in our community?”
