Given our roots as a teacher’s credit union and our continued commitment to education and life-long learning, Maps is proud to award scholarships each year to exceptional local students. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, demonstrated leadership and community involvement, financial need, and application responses.

For 2025, Maps plans to distribute over $60,000 in scholarships to support local students in pursuing their educational dreams. Several scholarships are designated for first-generation college students, Career Technical Education (CTE) students, and non-traditional students. Scholarships are available only to Maps members; however, all are welcome to apply for membership. Scholarship awards are selected by a review committee, except the Phil Frey Memorial Scholarship which is chosen by the Frey family.

Applications will be available starting February 1, with a deadline of March 31 for the written application. Finalists will be invited to participate in video interviews, with award decisions by May 15.
