Dear Members

All of us at Maps are committed to helping our members and staff stay safe during this challenging time.

As the Government and associated agencies like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ask all of us to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we are closing our lobbies and limiting branch services to drive-through only.

The Chemeketa, Hines Street, South Salem, Woodburn, and West Salem Branch drive-ups along with the Contact Center will be open from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.

The Monmouth, McNary, and Silverton Branches will have limited drive-up only hours from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.

Our Stayton office has no drive-through and will be closed.

Starting Monday, April 6 all branch locations with drive-ups and the contact center will be open 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday and 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on Saturday.

Click here to schedule an appointment for limited lobby services.

Unfortunately, these unusual times call for unusual action. At this point, your safety and the safety of our staff is the most important thing to us.

We have an incredible variety of ways to do your banking without coming into a lobby:

  • Online and mobile banking with bill pay

  • Check deposits using your smartphone

  • Text banking

  • Deposit-taking ATMs

  • Debit cards

  • Night drops

  • Drive-through service

  • Excellent telephone service provided by our local service representatives

If you’re unsure how to use any of these services, give us a call and we’ll make it easy. Over the coming days and weeks, we’ll be adding additional services to help our members through the COVID-19 epidemic.

We’re in this together. Maps is committed to service while keeping you and our employees safe. With your help, we can do just that.

Thank you,

PS. A note about cash- It’s human nature to hoard during stressful and uncertain times. Hoarding cash, however, is not a good idea. Cash is one of the least hygienic items we encounter in our daily lives and, according to the World Health Organization, COVID-19 can remain on surfaces for up to several days.  This is the ideal time to use electronic forms of payment: mobile banking, debit cards, online bill pay, etc.  Secondly, your Credit Union accounts are federally insured by the NCUA for up to $250,000.  You lose coverage on every penny you keep in cash.  Finally, there are a lot of bad guys in the world just waiting for you to withdraw cash from your account.  Please don’t make yourself an attractive target by keeping cash!
